The development of the “Hybrid Module” started in 2003 and was finished in 2008. After the final product was available in the first quarter of 2008, it was introduced to the public during the “InterSolar 2008” Convention in Munich and was awarded with the
“Federal Prize of the Federal Republic of Germany”
for outstanding innovational achievements in trade by
the German Federal Ministry of Trade and Technology.
The serial production of the “Hybrid Modules” started in 2009. In the meantime more than 1.2 Megawatt equal to 6600 Modules are already installed with great success throughout Germany. To secure this one of a kind invention, Solarzentrum Allgäu has obtained a world wide patent.
